Why do I want your stories of the delightful kids in your life?

Maybe it is because I grew up in a large family, was a big sister before my second birthday and an auntie before I went to kindergarten…

Maybe it is because hearing my dad tell about when he was a preschool kid and said to his dad: ‘I could pants you old man’ never gets boring.

Maybe it is because sitting with my siblings and parents and reminiscing about the growing up years is my favorite luxury in life.

Maybe it is because in watching my own kids grow up I lost so many of those memories that they have become more precious to me.

Maybe I don’t want you to lose your memories too.

Maybe I just love to laugh and make others laugh.

Maybe it is simply the joy I get ‘hearing’ your stories, receiving your reactions from the art, and getting to wrap that all up and share it with as many other folks as possible.

Maybe I love knowing I can make someone’s day with a simple stick figure comic.

But not without you and your endless stories.
